Arise! Arise! Eagle saints arise! To be a child of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, one is called to be an eagle saint. As one who belongs to the kingdom of God, it should be every Christian’s desire to be thus endowed. This is a common term used in the Christian community and carries with it a measure of distinction. Now the question to you is, are you an eagle saint? Have you arisen? Are you ready to arise?
Let’s consider what God is saying to you. The word of God declares that nature teaches. We will take a look at the eagle. What is it about the eagle that one can compare with the life of the Christian. How can Christians learn from the characteristics of the eagle? One can surmise that an eagle saint is sharp spiritually and is on the ball with God. There are 59 species of these spectacular creatures. They all have certain distinct features and habits which are used to categorize them. However, they have sharp vision, are fearless predators, and know when and how to renew their youth.
Like the eagle, the Christian needs to have sharp vision. How sharp is that? Firstly let us have a look at the eye of the eagle. As a point of interest, it should be noted that the eye, whether in humans or animals, regardless of the species, is one of the most complexed organs that God has created. It should be noted that even Darwin, the evolutionist had to admit that the intricacies of the eye could not have been created out of a big bang. The eagle’s eyes are of particular interest. The eyes of the eagle can look in more than one direction at the same time. They have a unique way to rotate. These eyes can see their prey from miles away.
The saint needs to know that the eagle has nothing over him/her. This is why the word of God says, “does not nature teach”. The eye of the eagle is an encouragement to the saints about the intricacies, the depth and the reach of their own spiritual vision. If God in His awesome wisdom can create the eye as such a wonder, what does it tell us about the eye of the Spirit that He has given to us? What a vision! Limitless.
As saints we are the called of the Lord. Choose to be an eagle in the realm of the spirit. Know that you have eyes that can look in different directions at the same time. God will turn every predator into a prey. You have the advantage. Arise, eagle saints. Arise!
